About him:

Soon Ji Won has one of the most charismatic smiles you'll ever see in your life. With one smile he can cheer up your day and being around him easily makes your bad mood go away. There is one more thing you can always see him with - chicken. He just loves chicken and often carries it in big bowls, quietly nibbling on it during the day. Sometimes even during classes which may earn him a detention every now and then. 

He always offers the chicken to others too, but think again before accepting it, because most of the time it's quite spicy, making the more sensitive ones beg for water.

Ji Won's attention is really poor and [i]shiny[/i] or loud things can snatch his attention in matter of seconds - that is one of the reasons why Ji Won has problems with keeping up with classes.

As much as he likes chicken he hates being photographed but unlike others who hide from the flashlights of a camera, Ji Won is not worried he'd look bad on the photos. He is afraid that those things actually do capture a part of his soul and even if you may think it's ridiculous, consider first his power and the fact that everything he believes in could easily come true if not controlled properly.

Ji Won has a unique and powerful spirit of bringing imagination to life - and you laughed when people told you everything you believed in was possible, didn't you?

About him:

Soon Ji Seok is quite liked in the female world, but weird enough, he's not that interested in them. Getting to know him is quite a challenge since the only person he considers his real friend is his non biological brother with whom he lived his entire life. 

He is gifted with the ability to control people's bodies, but not their mind, so it's extremely uncomfotable to have your body doing things your mind didn't command. Luckily, Ji Seok is aware of the seriousness of his ability and handles it well.

A thing Ji Seok loves doing is turning up the speakers on full blast while drinking tea or nibbling on freshly picked tomatos - he even grows a plant in his bedroom. He usually studies with loud music too, which can be quite nerving for his roommates.

There is one thing you have to avoid with him and that is unnecessary physical contact. Ji Seok really doesn't like being touched by other people and avoids handshakes if possible, but in case he does shake hands, you can see him washing them just a few moments after it.

Ji Seok is quite stubborn and doesn't let anyone boss him around, he would actually do the opposite thing if told what to do, simply out of spite. If somebody needs something from him, politeness is what works. 

Well... sometimes.

About him:

Aaron was always a romantic soul and easily fell in love. The numerous girls that he considered his soul-mates at that time were usually left heartbroken when he said they were not the ones for him. Already you can see him running after his new „soul-mate“. What Aaron looks for in girls is cuteness and ladylike behaviour. He loves their perky nature, to some, boring natural hair colour, their dark eyes which are so different from his blue ones. One of the things he's not keen on seeing on a girl are certainly tattoos – Aaron never sees the point in ruining that flawless soft skin with nasty lines which are called „art?“ And the things that makes him even more uncomfortable is when a girl curses – weren't they taught good manners at home? Anyways, the girls who are nuts about Aaron hope they will be the ones who will capture his heart , but usually their high hopes land down painfully. Their hearts crack like an egg that has fallen from the kitchen table – but luckily,  broken hearts find a way to heal – broken eggs remain broken.

About him:

Alan likes being surrounded by people since he can spend more time thinking about them, noticing every person in the crowd (never missing out anyone) – and less time thinking about his inner demon (literary).  He dresses up in earthy tones, often using black trying to look as normal as he could so nobody would spot him and walk to him trying to have a conversation. He acts as if he doesn't care about the looks people give him – some curious, some scared and goes on with drinking from his flask when turning his broad shoulders to them. Not only he was taller than most of them, he was also stronger and it was hard not to stand out. People considered him, arrogant, which wasn't that far from the truth but his arrogance was here to drive them away as far as possible. Even the girls who were tempted by the bad boy image gave up in the end since being an ass was something he learned to do during the ages of loneliness. Still, to think Alan wasn't drawn to them  was completely wrong. The thoughts that appeared in his head when seeing provocative clothes, postures or even alluding facial expressions, were all but not uninterested. He blamed the bad side of him, trying to ignore the temptation girls were to him. Silly him – has no one told him guys in his ages were like that? Seems not.

Still, all someone could read from his mask was rudeness and irritation and the short replies left them hanging if they wanted to carry out a conversation – which was exactly what Alan wanted. A chance for having a conversation is possible only when he starts it.

About him:

Anthony is a gentle soul who enjoys laughter and happiness. He's one of the rare people who enjoy the happiness of others without getting all jealous. He enjoys his moments of silence which are, unfortunately, often interrupted by loud students visiting the school library which is his main domain. Anthony is the student librarian of the school and the main organizer of any school events. He's also the president of the school council and the welcoming committee of the school. Not only he likes books, he's also a major computer geek. You can often see him playing games or just coding a new program. If there wasn't magic in his life he knew what he'd be - a programmer.

Anthony is quite shy and he would barely approach anyone without a reason - small talk is not a thing he does. If he comes and talks with somebody who isn't his close friend it's because he's got a reason related mostly to school. He doesn't talk much about himself he rather talks about other things and getting him talk about himself is a quite hard mission.

Even though it doesn't seem that way, Anthony easily loses his temper - but only in certain situations. In situations when his close friends are in question - he would never be able to forgive himself if he abandoned them.

Unlike some other air users, Anthony is not careless and free-spirited. He ties himself with obligations and lives to fulfill them which is something you don't actually expect from an air user.

About him:

Christian is one of those guys you just have to love! Why? Well, because he treats you like crap. Still don't think it's a good enough reason? How about his slender figure with deep brown eyes and silky brow hair which looks so touchable you constantly have the urge to go through it with your fingers?

Now even I got distracted!

Where were we? Oh, right! It's really ironic how a person with such a bad temper gets a powerful and amazing gift of fire. Not just that, Christian is also one of the rare ones who are quite good with their magic – he's good enough to both create it and control, yet he always carries around a lighter since creation takes out a lot more energy than just control.

Christian is quite playful and always getting in trouble with his friends for numerous pranks he pulls when he feels like it. He especially enjoys to play with shy girls who couldn't turn redder under his constant teases and snarky comments. But the tone of teasing isn't in his voice. He throws his often too harsh comments whenever he feels like, not judging if they were suitable for the situation. That means he often gets in trouble. If there is anything that nerves Christian it's those irritating perky girls - their gossips and whining. Instead of listening to such girls ( who apparently love to come to him and chat about something that does not interest him at all ) he rolls his eyes ( or awkwardly stares at their too dark eye-shadow ) and walks away often trying to find something new to do with the love of his life – fire.

About him:

Damon is a good guy always offering help wishing to save a damsel in distress. Everything he does, he does properly, never slacking or avoiding extra work. In his spare time you can see him playing his guitar with his friends or alone. True, he usually plays country but he knows how to play anything if you ask him nicely. 

He's also a decent singer, but he only sings country since his southern accent usually just makes other songs weird. A musician, singer and dancer! Damon actually enjoys also dancing, especially group dances which he enjoyed back home. 

Since Damon is a body manipulator he's good at sports and can increase his strength and speed - yet he prefers to play fair, not taking advantage of his power. What Damon truly dislikes are stereotypes and people who believe them. It just bothers him that people could actually judge anyone before meeting them properly. 

Damon always liked the country girl look, the tanned skin from working on the field and the blond hair which became even lighter during summer. He always thought it was purely beautiful. Of course that didn't mean he didn't consider anything else beautiful - but that combination threw him off his feet.

About him:

Jeffrey is a shapeshifter. He can turn into anything but prefers the form of a panther since he really likes cats. When not being an animal he enjoys watching comedies and listening to loud music, even if the music's soothing and gentle. Since he's able to turn into an animal and knows exactly how it feels to be one, he is disgusted by any forms of violence towards them and eats only vegetables feeling the pain of poor pigs and cows that were brought to slaughter. 

Jeffrey likes animals more than he likes people - how wouldn't he? Animals don't complain - they don't ruin their faces with make-up and their bodies with terrible clothing. If it were acceptable Jeffrey would go into school butt naked, clothes were only a mask - a mask people liked to wear to separate themselves from what they truly were - beasts.

Jeffrey often changes moods, he's all cheerful in one moment and all of a sudden , a word or two and he becomes all depressed or grumpy. He's also really stubborn and often flips out when things are not done his way - he blames that part on the animal part of himself. 

About him:

Julian is an awfully charming vampire - but aren't all of them charming? His beauty is not comparable to anyone but some other vampire.Flawless porcelain skin, deep bluish-green eyes and red lips. Like a dream come true for every girl he approaches. Unfortunately, he approaches them quite rare himself. Usually it's them who approach. Still he plays the game and answers politely always being a gentleman.

He actually doesn't care about their rambling. After living as long as he did - they all become boring and predictive. He just hopes he'd get a chance to try them. Both in a sexual and in a blood lust way. 

After he found out he could hurt himself and heal quickly he started enjoying activities which presented him a thrill. Fast car driving or jumping off rooftops seemed fun to him even when resulting in a pain - luckily healing of a broken leg took only a few minutes for vampires.

Seeing Julian in company is not something you see often. He prefers keeping a distance from most people, especially the curious ones. He likes his past to stay hidden, even though it makes most people scared of it.

Julian also does not watch television or movies. He considers them overrated. The imagination people have when reading - that's what interests him.

That - and the perfection of a female curvatious body.

About him:

Some consider Sebastian is not really too smart - but at least he's good. He is gentle and friendly, he enjoys helping others and is protective of his friends. His patience is admiring and his confusion too cute to be true. Sebastian got the ability to control water - which is something quite fascinating to him and since he found out he was a water user he decided he liked the color blue the best and loved salty food since the ocean is the most magnificent example of wonders that water creates.

What kind of a water user would he be if he didn't grow a strong aversion towards fire?. Sebastian is terrified of fire almost as terrified of spiders or darkness. 

His favourite movie is The Day the Earth Stood Still, even though he's not sure he understood it properly. I mean why would anyone want to destroy people? I mean that cute Afro kid is like the cutest thing on the planet.

About him:

Chace is an intelligent young man who enjoys spending his time trying to solve logical problems - what others consider impossible - Chace considers a challenge and he won't rest until he solved it. He's a true fan of science and dreams about becoming a famous scientist and using the newest technology - maybe even inventing a new technology. In his opinion one of the greatest inventions of all time is Internet - it's a true wonder humans could produce something as magnificent as that.

Chace manipulates electricity and already a touch of a machine that's plugged in is enough for him to get any information he needs.

The worst thing Chace can imagine are stupid people. There is no such thing as irritating and nerve-wrecking thing as stupidity. It makes him want to pull out his own hair in despair. He also considers disorganisation and ignorance terrible traits of human beings and he isn't afraid of being too straightforward. He's not quite subtle  when telling the truth.

Chace learnt to be patient and focused when solving logical problems, programming often required both of those traits and he knew that small mistakes could do great damage so he was careful in everything he did. 

Even though some may say it made him boring.

About him:

James was always a shy and quiet person. People often mistake him as cold, but he isn't cold. He's just.. well... a major geek. He enjoys history lessons, reading novels ( his favourite: Crime and Punishment )  and playing his piano. You can often find him in the auditorium playing his piano all by himself. That's when he truly shines. 

Looking at him playing shows how much emotion he's got hiding under that shy shell of his. 

It's hard to get James to carry out a conversation. His replies are usually short and he never asks a question if he's not really interested in the answer. He prefers solitude and avoids going to crowded places.

James is also one of those persons who'll remember everything you said and far more. The way your hair looks under a certain light, the way your nose moves while speaking or the way you turn the pages of your book.  He always notices - just never mentions. He rather sits and observes amused by the things others wouldn't even notice.

About him:

Patrick is a star. He is also a wonderful guy who is gentle, friendly, caring and nice. He's not afraid to talk to strangers or to offer them help or to go and talk to a pretty girl giving her numerous compliments. But he does stand behind his words and speaks only what he thinks in those compliments. 

He enjoys being in the centre of attention especially when playing his guitar and singing. He knows how to play the piano, the guitar, the violin and the flute and is quite proud of his voice. So he decided to open a youtube channel and present himself there. 

That made him quite popular in school. The girls were crazy about him and he was crazy about them but he never stayed long with just one, neither did he ever hurt them - he just sang a break-up song healing all their emotional pain.

Yes, Patrick had the power of healing - but not only physical healing than  also emotional. His songs were only a thing he used in the process of healing, that's why it isn't really weird to see him all worn out after playing just one song - especially in front of a crowd - seeing pain is something unbearable to him.

About him:

Lucas is one of those guys who would remember everything bad and forget everything good – just to get back at something.. You may think he's the one who started it – but no. He never starts it – he just finds a thing that  annoys him  - wheather it's the fact that you have a too nasal voice or that you seem just too happy at 7 a.m. You were the one that started the provocation ( at least according to him ).

 Lucas is quite picky when it comes to people. He's aware of the fact that it's useful to be on good terms with more 'groups' so he tolerates some that he usually would not tolerate – yet quite a lot of people do not tolerate him. Some may say Lucas is a trouble seeker and indeed he is. If there's anything that might go wrong – he'll make it sure it does (and then people blame the Murphy's law...).

Cigarettes are the thing Lucas couldn't live without. He isn't the type that smokes one cigarette after the other   but he easily smokes half of a box daily. There is also a few more things Lucas can't stand. One of them are group sports. Lucas always believed that you do the best by yourself, group sport was just a way of slacking. The other thing was surely technology, the smartphones he saw people used made his blood boil. He just wanted to throw them into a wall. He really doesn't need a reason... does he?

About her:

Ashley is a short and playful girl who enjoys simple things in life, like: morning joggs, new video games and animes. Although she's all perky, playful and above all friendly and teasing, Ashley has quite a temper. She didn't have it before her Expertus though. She is one of the rare cases where the Expertus changes a person – both physically and mentally. Ashley wasn't red-haired before, she was actually blond but after her Expertus her hair became a vibrant orange. She was marked with the element of fire and even her attitude became more 'explosive'. Still Ashley is a nice person to have around, you just have to be really careful about what you say in certain moments because even the smallest insults hit her hard – and never, ever dare to mention her height – calling her 'Shorty' may end up badly for you. Luckily, Dr. Burbon is good at curing burns.
Ashley is one of those girls who has more male friends than female - it's probably because the girls that play games like Call of Duty are quite rare in normal schools - how wouldn't they be rare in a magical school?! She is also in the tutoring club but the guys give her someone to tutor only if they don't find time to do it, since you'd be surprised at what speed can her voice get louder and louder and louder. Seems she inherited something from her uncle John.

About her:

Iris Moldove is one peculiar being who seems to love to cause trouble, or not? Maybe trouble just finds her. However it is, Iris gets in numerous occasions in which she is put into detention, usually together with Lucas as both of them seem to cause a lot of mess just by being near each other. Iris never hesitates to give her opinion even though nobody ever asks for it. But at least Iris is not a hypocrite – she likes people who state her opinion and the truth no matter how ugly that truth is. She can't stand those blond, giggly girls who spend hours being BFF's and the second one of them wears pants that make her look fat – everybody compliments her and laughs at her behind her back. Such girls repulse Iris and she barely sustains from hurting them. And that was one of the reasons why she ended in detention too. She already knows where all the brooms are held, where you can find the bleacher because of the many times she had to work with those things to serve her detention. It's a miracle she doesn't get up automatically at 5 AM to do her sentence.

Iris is usually seen around the guys since she practically acts lie one, there is not much femininity in her and cursing is not strange to her. She's usually seen around Christian who actually tolerates her and you can see her mingling around Alan. She is quite interested in Alan who never showed any sign of interest for her,but it wouldn't be Iris if she gave up on him – no, Iris just loves a challenge.

About her:

Paulette is not that bright. Yes, we said it out loud. But why would you need to be smart, if you look like a model? Her pretty big blue eyes and nice round lips make her unique and sweet. Paulette is aware she's a beauty and enjoys the attention it gives her, but unfortunately she's not aware how unintelligent she is. And that in combination makes her an easy target to all the guys around, unless they appreciate intelligence...Yeah, right. Good one.

Anyways, Paulette spends her time focusing on make-up and she even puts it on during classes which means she spends a lot of time in detention too – which is terrible since she needs to get up an two hours earlier to get dressed and put on make-up. She cannot leave her room without make-up!

Yes, Paulette is really shallow and appreciates beauty more than anything, that's why if you're not a looker, there is hardly any chance she would listen to you. Paulette also has a few strange moments of blocking in which she just stares at a point and says nothing for some period. Those moments usually happen when she gets overloaded with too much information. Usually, only Sebastian is capable of pulling her out of that state.

About her:

Hannah Stanely is a nice and beautiful young woman who wears far too many vests and cardigans hiding her flawless figure with the floral patterns and bright colours. Hannah tries to make history interesting and often brings various costumes to class and makes the studnets reanimate historical moments in the cause of learning in a unique way. The students don't seem that thrilled about all of that but when they show a sign of resistance they feel fear slowly creeping up their spines. Hannah still has a few problems with controlling her magic, how wouldn't she – her spirit marked her with fear and that made high-school a  living hell for her. She was friendless and tried extra hard to control her element. The only person who managed to tolerate her company was Victor who easily crept into her mind and helped her control her element –though she didn't really know that, she just thought she had a crush on him and that was why she managed to control herself better in his company.

Being marked as terrifying, Hannah did all she could to seem less frightening. She was always nice and caring, offering everyone a smile but still people felt at unease with her. That resulted in her getting a cat which was named Agatha. Hannah has a deep connection with ehr cat and you can see the Russian blue beauty sitting on her table, waving her tale as the clocks ticks the minutes from the end of your exam – during which the whole class smells like roses and strawberries because of Hannah's perfume which was sprayed on each sheet of the test.

You can often see Agatha creeping in the bushes around the school and alerting the teachers when she sees some students out at night. She is extremely fond of Julian who stops to pet her each time he sees her around.

Alison Drabble is the teacher of magic control. She is gifted with the spirit which enables her to control all of the elements. Not as well as the ones who are in possess of only one element but her magic serves perfectly since it's within the power range of the students who need to learn to control their magic. Alison appreciates effort and thinks well of those who work hard to accomplish something. She does not like slacks, especially when they are intelligent or good at something. She thinks it's a waste of talent and a disgrace. 

The woman has a gentle and soothing voice which is rarely loud and she is patient with explaining the basic of magical control, knowing how hard it may be. But all that is needed is practice. That's why one of the students who isn't quite appreciated by the other professors is her favourite. She loves everything about Christian who is passionate about his magic that even when she sees him doing things that are not allowed but involve magic, she lets him slip away with a warning, feeling all warm an fuzzy around her heart because of the pride she feels when a student of hers practices aside the classes. 

Alison is also the mother of our one and only Victor Vlahov. But her son didn't employ her because of family connections. It was obvious his mother was perfect for a teacher of magical control – why take 5 professors when one has everything?! Alison is also quite fond of Hannah Stanely often telling her son how wonderful that young lady is. But her compliments are usually just brushed off. There was no way of manipulating her son – strangely – that made her sad but happy in the same time.

About him:

Jim Burbon is one really grumpy man. Not only he is impolite and irritating, he is also impatient  and keen on making jokes which make your heart sink once he diagnoses you with something incurable. And when it turns out he was just joking you're not sure would you rather rip out his heart or decapitate him on the place. But your feelings towards him don't interest him at all. He is here because he can heel and once he does that and saves your life, you are no longer his responsibility. Surprisingly there is one person which makes Jim change his approach completely – from a grumpy old man he shifts into a nice and caring doctor who is genuinely concerned about your health. Patrick Beverly is one of Jim's discoveries and doctor Burbon cherishes that boy more than his own life. He considers him a miracle and even he is a better person once Patrick is near.

Patrick is Jim's apprentice and Jim tries hard to give all his knowledge to the boy who doesn't really want to be a doctor – he just wants to sing, but Jim wouldn't be Jim if he didn't use his intellect and connections to offer Patrick both the possibility to sing and to cure. Patrick, of course took that gratefully and started learning something he still has problems to understand – chemistry and biology –two unknown things in the world of music and magic.

About him:

Gerard Cervaux is one patient and calm man whose voice is barely a whisper in his classes. That makes the students quiet since everybody knows the tests Cervaux likes to throw. Those tests are one of those when you see the questions and stare at them for a while not believing someone would put that in a test. But all that's needed in his classes is being quiet and listening and you will be able to pass the exam. Getting a better grade than a passing one? Well, you'll need some 'advantaged' congnitive functions for that or super memory, like your professor has.

But Gerard is always willing to explain whatever is needed or to answer questions that aren't even in his field – but what is his field actually? Since he remembers every book he read and every image he saw? But if you do have questions for him, wait until he is finished – do not EVER interrupt him. The look he will give you will remain in your memory and do I really need to repeat he never forgets?

It can be quite scary to look at him while he holds his lectures since moving isn't really a thing he often does. He usually just stands on his place with his lips moving and words coming out, but the rest of his body is still and tall never flinching. Even if there is a sound that interrupts the perfect silence in his classes, he stops for a while and slowly turns his head towards the source of the noise in these moments -  everybody stops to breathe for a while awaiting the reaction but luckily the reactions rarely come.

About him:

Discipline is the one thing John Kenneth believes no students has enough of and therefore it is his task to teach it. Sports are more than just games and sweat. You had to have control of your body and know it thoroughly. You have to know your limits and push them further each and every time. There are many that seek for trouble at Canticum, but none of them is dumb enough to stand against Kenneth and his raised voice when students fail to do the given exercise which was unacceptable. He knew their limits, he was a teacher and a body manipulator and he was fully aware how much could each of them do, but some were lazy and if there was a thing he just could not tolerate it was laziness. Don't laugh, maybe P.E. was a  subject you could ditch before, but now, here at Canticum, there were cases of Students repeating the years because of flunking P.E. Just always be aware that if Kenneth expects something of you – you are capable of doing it, but surely you need will.

Do not do the thing he can't tolerate – give up.

John also has a a niece who's name is Ashley. Some may think that that might make Kenneth go easy on her but it's exactly the opposite – he awaits more from her which results in their quarrels which would be quite amusing if his voice wouldn't make you stand stil on place. But Ashley seems almost immune to Kenneth's threats. She continues her methods of being rude and irritating until he's so furious that he stays silent. Imagine it or not – his silence is worse than any shouts he could make.

About him:

If you ever met Victor Vlahov he surely left a big impact on you. Both bad and good. Victor has the ability to piss off people without even trying to hard. He is an intelligent and successful young man who always believed a key to success is in being persistent and using everything you could. Some people would say it would be unfair to use his advantage of mind control, but he would disagree. He was gifted with that and why not use it for a good cause: being at the top.

Although Victor was offered many prestigious positions and is widely known and appreciated, his dream was always working in Canticum. He believed the power and future lied in the young ones. They were still full of ideas and innovations – more importantly – full of hope and will. Older people usually lose that spark and that's what makes the world slow down. He applied himself for the position of the headmaster and unlike the old headmasters he took things seriously and created a new set of rules which were strict. He also hired a new set of staff, he hired the ones he believed would do the best job. At least he was sure if were doing it. He, after all, could read minds if he  wanted to – but usually he blocked those annoying voices of the students.

Victor is quite complicated to understand. He does not like students who make trouble but in the same time these students are one of his favourites. We guess that, as long as he's not in trouble for their trouble it was okay? But then again, Victor enjoyed passing the hallways and catching each rule broken carefully remembering them and writing them down on paper once he was in his office.  What did he do next? Since he was mostly busy, he used his dreams to visit those students which he caught breaking the rule. He easily entered their dreams and told them when their detention begins and who would be supervising it. So if it happens to you – remember – it wasn't a dream, you really have to get up at 5AM and sort the books in the library.

It's safe to say that Victor's favourite student would surely be Iris Moldove. He loved the spark she had and her angry face when he caught her doing trouble. He only found it a pity her spark wasn't being used for smarter things.
